Happy Canada Day!

Another Canada Day celebration at the church.  The girls love to go each year and still enjoy the same displays and activities they do each year.  In fact they almost look forward to them and are sad when some change.

Of course we cannot pass up the orange drink and cotton candy!

Followed by some bouncing in the castle.  This is the perfect day!

We enjoyed our hot dogs and the sunshine!

Our celebrating was not complete until we made our Canada Day hats and got some flags.  What a great day!

The girls are also excited about participating in the reading bingo at the library this summer.  Whenever they get a bingo they get to pick a small item out of the box and an entry in the draw for a big prize at the end of the summer.  Yeah for fun ways to read - wearing a hat!

We were sad Dad couldn't celebrate with us today but excited for what he was working on with Grandpa.  At the end of the day we were down one slide in our backyard but had a climbing area and monkey bars!!  The girls were so excited as they have been waiting for these for a year.

We are so blessed to live in this beautiful country - Canada.  We enjoy so many freedoms and comforts and are grateful for a day to celebrate and focus on those blessings!
