Family Fun and Learning

When we arrived home from our trip Dad let the girls know the raspberries were falling off the bushes.  He suggested they make some jam as there were way too many to eat before they would be bad.  They thought it was a great idea.  They went and picked all of the berries and then the fun began!  Mom explained to the girls how to make jam and they got to work.  They filled the pot and took turns stirring until it was time to put it in the jars.

It looked yummy and tasted just as good!  The girls were so proud of their work and liked telling people that they made their own jam!

Mom and Dad also celebrated their 11th anniversary.  Dad left this fun poster on the cupboard in the kitchen for Mom to wake up to.  Isn't he the greatest!!
