Getting ready for Summer!!

Cera loves going to activity days with the girls age 8-11 at church.  This week they were able to have a campfire, play some games and make smores - it sure made her ready for summer!

Mom went to visit a friend one morning.  When they showed up her friend was just finishing a ride on her horse so she asked Elizabeth if she would like a turn.  Elizabeth was pretty excited and did great!

After the horse gave her a nice ride she was able to give him some oats as a thank you.  We have some pretty great friends!!

It was a bitter sweet afternoon - a wrap up party with Amber.  It was exciting to see how much Elizabeth has worked and improved over this past year but sad to think we won't be working with Amber anymore.

Amber spoiled Elizabeth for the afternoon.  She decorated, had some yummy treats, played any games Elizabeth wanted and even did her nails for her.  Elizabeth was in heaven.

With the beautiful weather we have been having, Elizabeth and Mom headed to the park one morning.  We happen to run into some friends there.  Elizabeth and her buddy, Jude, decided it was a great idea to fill their shoes with rocks and then dump them on their heads.

Elizabeth's hair was so dusty and gross when we headed for home.  Mom made her have a bath right away.  Yuck!

So excited for the last day of school!!!  It's always sad to say goodbye to teachers and friends for a few months but so fun to have a less packed schedule!

Yeah for pool parties!  Elizabeth loves to have her bestie, Grace, over to play and they had a blast in the pool.  So much fun that when Mom said it was time to take Grace home the girls told her they'd rather not.  Such silly girls!

The girls had fun one day when Griffin came over to play while his mom was at school.  Look at those smiles and thumbs up!

Mom had bought a fortune cookie maker for the birthday bin.  Cera begged to use her own money to buy it and Mom gave in.  Cera has loved making cookies for her sisters and herself.

Doesn't that fortune cookie look way better than what you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant?  She used the extra dough to make a flat cookie too.

We have enjoyed a few adventures/walks on the paths by the river.  The girls love to explore and Mom is much happier to do it when the weather is beautiful.

We can't wait for summer!!  We are looking forward to living mostly in our swimming suits, spending endless hours in the backyard and having treat covered faces daily!
