Sports Day

With the end of the school year approaching it brings sports day with it!  The day was a little windy and chilly but the kids still had fun.  Emilee had a blast in the potato sack games and races.

They had planned some fun water games to help keep the kids cool - too bad the sunshine and hot weather didn't get the memo.  The kids still had fun but we were glad our group was at this station last and then got to head inside.

Emilee's teacher let Elizabeth join in on the fun - she's the one in the blue sweater.

It was harder for Elizabeth to join Cera's class but the parachute was perfect.  We are so grateful for fun activities at school and that we can be part of the excitement!

Cera was good at the over under obstacle course.

Elizabeth was so excited to climb into a potato sack even if she couldn't move once she was in it!

Cera enjoyed playing tag and was almost the last one standing!

One of the days favorite activities was tug of war over a kiddie pool.  Cera's class had fun playing multiple times - leaders vs. kids, boys vs. girls, etc.

It was a well planned day full of great activities for all of the school to participate in.  The girls had a blast and we were grateful we could go watch them.
