Pre-Summer Fun!

With the summer weather arriving we have enjoyed a few evenings at the park.  It is wonderful to see the girls running around, being creative and enjoying each others company.  We love the summertime and are getting ready for a break from school and the routine!

Mom and Elizabeth were able to go watch Emilee's class perform their shadow puppet shows.  It was great to see as we helped a few weeks before when the kids were creating their puppets.  They all did a great job telling and acting out their stories.  Mom loves being part of these activities at school. 

It seems there are a lot of fun days planned during the last month of school.  Emilee was excited to dress up like a cowgirl for the day!4

Elizabeth was excited to show Mom the hermit crab at her preschool.  Although they are very interesting and unique creatures, Mom still likes to keep her distance!

Emilee also had fun being Thomas the Train on T day.  Just before school Mom was rushing to make it for her and then kind hearted Emilee gave it to a special needs boy in her class who loves everything about Thomas the Train.  She is so kind and thoughtful and her teacher even made sure Mom knew how great it made the boy feel.  Way to go Emilee!

With the nice weather Mom has started running outside again and this year the girls want to join in on the fun.  Elizabeth rode her bike while Cera, Emilee and Mom ran.  It was a little slower pace than Mom is use to but the memories and fun were completely worth it!  We look forward to more family runs this summer!
