Family Fun

With the weather warming up we have tried to make it to the spray park a couple times.  Cera decided she wanted to bring some items to build a little fort while she was there.  It didn't stand as well as she had planned but she still had fun in it.  What a silly, fun girl!

We were excited to head to the annual soap box derby as a family again this year.  Alan is still pretty sure he wanted to build one for his girls next year but Cera isn't sold on being the driver yet.  The girls were given these clapping sticks (not sure what they are actually called).  They were fun to use but best part was as we were leaving they gave them to some other kids that really wanted them.  Moments that make parents smile!

It was fun to watch the racers and some of the very unique cars that were made.  Mom still gets butterflies in her stomach when a car goes out of control even though it isn't her kids driving.

On our way home we stopped at the recycling center for a free BBQ.  We each enjoyed a hot dog and entered to win some prizes.  It was a fun day together as a family!

Mom decided to spoil the girls one night with at home pedicures.  The enjoyed soaking their feet, getting a rub and having their nails painted.  Mom was ready for bed when she was done!!

Elizabeth's aid had to cancel one afternoon so we decided with the weather being in the 30's we'd head to the spray park with some friends.  We had so much fun (although Mom burnt) and we were all grateful Elizabeth brought freezies to share!
