We decided to take a trip to visit Aunt Tori and Uncle Tyler on our week off school. It turned it to a busy, fun trip! Our first adventure - glow in the dark mini golf. It's hard to see in the picture but Emilee is celebrating her hole in one!!
The last time we had the girls mini golfing - Cera was 2, Emilee was in a baby carrier on Mom's stomach and Elizabeth wasn't even a thought! It might be something we need to do again - but maybe in Lethbridge as it's way cheaper - all 6 of us golfed for cheaper than 1 person at home!
During the little bit of down time we had, Aunt Tori made Elizabeth a super happy girl by playing with her hair. Elizabeth wasn't sure about the finished product - who wouldn't want hair horns!?!
Decorating eggs with Tori and Tyler may have become a tradition - and of course this year we had to share pysanky with them! The crew was hard at work and we may have spend a few hours doing this on our visit.
The girls even blew out their own eggs this time! Soon Mom won't be needed for this project either!
The eggs turned out pretty good!
Even with a few mistakes/learning opportunities, mini finger burns and cracked eggs everyone seemed happy at the end of the day.
A trip to Lethbridge wouldn't be complete now without some rock/wall climbing! We are so grateful for the time and patience Tori and Tyler take to help the girls.
Each of the girls were more confident and did better than last time - way to go ladies!
Elizabeth's favorite spot was still the bouldering room.
Cera like to challenge herself in the bouldering room to find new paths and really stretch for new hand holds.
The girls seem to become little monkeys while we are there!
All of the girls climbed higher than last visit. We were so proud of them but felt bad when Elizabeth got way up there and then frozen. She started to cry uncontrollably and we couldn't reason with her to let Uncle Tyler lower her down. She had a death grip on the rocks! We finally talked her into relaxing and we got her lowered down. She was done for the day! Poor girl!
Even Mom turned into a monkey and hung around a little.
While we were visiting, we got some cheesecake as a treat. Mom and Cera loved it - it is so fluffy and delicious! So when we got home Mom felt a need to find a recipe and give it a try. It turned out pretty good....Mom may have eaten way too much and then made a second one in the name of sharing with everyone!
We are so grateful that Uncle Tyler and Aunt Tori let us come visit and for all the adventures we go on with them while there!
