Proud Moments

Elizabeth was so excited to get dressed up and play in the snow.  She headed out by herself and plopped down to make a snow angel.  It was fun to watch her play.  (Mom enjoyed the comfort and warmth of the indoors!)

Elizabeth wrote a letter to Santa and drew a million pictures.  We were so proud of her for writing her name and Santa's on the envelope.  She is getting so good at printing and knowing all of her letters.  Way to go Elizabeth!!

Emilee has to do "book talks" at school - which are basically like a mini book report.  She has a page of questions to answer about her book and then she has to draw her favorite part of the book.  When she is done, she has to present it to her class.  We love to see her drawings and her teacher even wrote "wow" on this one.  Good work Em!

Emilee also got recognized as the leader of the pack this month in her class.  We were proud of her hard work and example for others.  Her teacher wrote, "Emilee comes to school ready to learn and she leads with the 7 habits.  She does a really great job of making smart, proactive choices throughout the school day.  She chooses her own weather and she does the right thing even when no one is watching.  Emilee is always smiling and trying her best in all that we do.  Emilee remembers to use her manners and she looks at situations with a positive eye.  She is a helpful volunteer who is often looking for ways to help other students.  She is kind, positive leader and we appreciate her in 2N!"

Elizabeth brought this picture home from school of her sisters dressed up for Halloween.  Her drawing has improved since the beginning of the school year.  We might just have a budding artist on our hands!

Cera was also recognized as the leader of the pack in her class.  Her teacher wrote, "Cera comes to school with a positive attitude and a caring disposition.  She uses proactive language that contributes to success in her work and her friendships.  Cera contributes to her classroom responsibilities and is always the first one to say, 'I can help with that!'"  Way to go Cera!
