School in April

Elizabeth was able to attend the last music class with Amber.  They missed a few of them as they often fell at the same time as her speech therapy sessions but she really enjoyed the classes she attended.  She had fun with this group of kiddos at zumba, yoga and music throughout the year.

Elizabeth is really great at playing by herself and has a great imagination playing with little figurines.  Often Mom will spot her like this and smiles.  (Although Elizabeth also loves to have others play this game with her!)

Elizabeth has decided a few mornings that she needs to "workout" like Mom.  She will do a few dance songs on the xbox.  This was her reaction one morning after she finished a few songs.  She is so funny!  (She was also copying Mom's reaction to a few of her harder workouts.)

Elizabeth asked Mom to paint her nails one morning.  She has a great imagination and asked for her nails to be painted so they looked like Canada flags.  They had red on the sides and white in the middle with a red little blob.  They passed for Elizabeth but Mom's art skills could use some work!

Emilee's grade was in charge of the assembly this month.  All of the kids did a great job and had fun "dressing fancy" for the presentation.  When it was done we surprised Emilee's class with ring pops - they were excited!

Emilee has been gathering recycled materials to make a car with their grade 8 buddies.  We were pretty impressed with Emilee's design.  She included a sunroof like in Mom's car which made it perfect for her hedgehog to take a ride.

Elizabeth and Amber (her aid) learned about plants, seeds and gardens one week.  Part of the fun activities was to plant some seeds of their own.

Elizabeth had a blast and looks forward to watching them grow.  Here she is showing Mom all of her hard work from the day.

They also got some eggs at Elizabeth's preschool that hatched into some cute ducks!  Elizabeth loved giving up reports on the funny things they did and how they were growing.

Elizabeth said, Frank and George (the ducks) were fast swimmers!  This was a fun, learning experience for Elizabeth.
