Easter Time

Elizabeth had signed up to bring Easter treats to preschool so we decided to make little nests.  She was so proud of her work placing the eggs and they were a hit with her classmates.

The girls also looked forward to our "egging" tradition.  Cera and Emilee decided they wanted to egg their class at school and pulled it off without being caught.  They were so excited to surprise their classes.  Elizabeth spread her eggs on the way home.

She was very sneaky and when she jumped into the car after ringing the doorbell she said, "That was terrifying!"  She has used the word terrifying incorrectly before so Mom asked if she really meant it was scary and she replied with a resounding, "Yes, fun but terrifying!"  What a funny girl!

The girls were excited for the Easter Bunny to come but luckily not so excited they woke up early.  Cera woke up around 7 and then got her sisters up to start their search.

Elizabeth was super excited this year and understood what she was doing.  She was fun to watch as she found treats all over the house.

The girls were also excited about the new shirts and bracelet making kits they got from the Easter Bunny.

They certainly got spoiled again this year!!  Any leftover Halloween or Christmas treats were tossed to make room for their new goodies in the treat basket.

The girls enjoyed homemade waffles for breakfast and then jumped right into para-cord bracelet making.  They were excited with the new skill they learned and it kept them busy for hours.

They girls said it was the best Easter ever.  (But they said that last year too!)

We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to enjoy all the aspects of Easter.  We enjoyed the Easter Bunny's visit and fun he left us.  But we were also able to spend time listening to the leaders of our church speak at General Conference on many things including the resurrection of our Savior.  We are so grateful for the plan of salvation and that the Savior provided a way for us to learn, grow, repent and try again in this life so that we can return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven again.  We are so blessed!
