Lemonade Day

The girls were excited to participate in Lemonade Day again!  They had an initial meeting with Dad to make plans for their day.  Some things were removed from the menu while others were added.  This year they are adding candy bags and hot dogs.  The girls were excited to go to the store and pick out some treats to build their bags with.  Then they spent an afternoon assembling them.  Way to work hard ladies!

The day of came and sadly the weather forecast was right - cold with rain!  Luckily we still had some great friends, family and passersby that helped the girls have a good day.

Emilee was so excited to have her teacher stop by with her husband!  They liked the baking they bought that they came back for a second visit!!

We are so grateful for everyone that supported the girls.  Even though the weather was not on our side, the girls still had a fun day and were successful.  They toughed out the cold and rain to stay almost until the close time they'd advertised (short by about half hour but nobody had come for the half hour before).  The girls were able to save some, share some with their charities and spend some.  They are talking about their plans for next year already!  What a great opportunity for those involved.
