Filling the Family Memory Bank

Emilee received a waffle cooker for her birthday that makes them in shapes of hearts.  The girls have had fun eating their heart shaped waffles.  Em loves hers on a stick covered in nutella!

We had a playdate one day and they were requested for lunch - topped with whipping cream, syrup and strawberries!  Who doesn't love that?!?

The girls have enjoyed some park time with friends and love to send Mom a selfie of them having fun!  What a cute bunch!

It was crazy hat day at Cera and Emilee's school (although there was confusion on the day so they ended up doing it again so we could add to the girls hats).  They were pretty excited with our creativity and received lots of comments at school.  They loved that people knew they were sisters because of their hats!

The older girls were able to attend a Pokemon party at the library.  They played, read and did lots of fun crafts.  We really liked the little Pikachu we got to bring home with us!  Cera was a super nice sister and gave her headband to Elizabeth who was just a few months too young to attend.

We enjoyed having a friends hamster over during the holidays.  Cera was in charge of everything and by the end of the week she said, "Mom you're right, having a pet is a lot of work and maybe it's nice to just have them once in awhile."  Here's hoping she continues to remember this and is good to just "pet sit" once in awhile.  Even our friends that came over to play enjoyed some hamster time.

We sure love spending time with Uncle Mike and making memories with him too.  He is so kind and sensitive to the girls and has lots of hugs if they need them!!

We had a play date with some friends (we let their parents think it was so they could have some much needed and deserved alone time but it was really so we could spend time with our buddies!)  We enjoyed painting and decorating some cute mugs.  It also involved lots of play time to be girls!  It was so much fun and we were sad when their Mom and Dad returned to pick them up!  We sure do love play dates and the giggles, fun times and great memories that come with them!
