Emilee was excited to wear the bunny ears to school one day. We think she makes a pretty cute bunny!
The girls were super excited to get egged (maybe even a little more excited than we might have possibly been egging others)! We spent a lot of time looking for the last egg and finally gave up thinking it might have been missed when our bunnies were hiding them. Later that night we headed outside and finally found the last egg where it seemed to be right out in the open - we had a good laugh that we'd missed it before.
We enjoyed an afternoon decorating eggs. The girls creativity and personalities showed as they decorated their dozen eggs each.
Elizabeth was all about solid colors with lots of stickers and sparkles.
Emilee and Cera liked to experiment with mixing colors and trying multiple colors on one egg. They decorated a few with stickers and sparkles also. They were all very proud of their hard work. Way to go girls!! Mom will love eating lots of colored, boiled eggs in the coming weeks.
Emilee picked her favorite egg that she had turned into a bunny and left it out for the Easter Bunny. She is so sweet!
The girls were excited for the Easter Bunny to visit and had fun searching the house for the goodies he left.
That Easter Bunny is starting to find harder spots for his treats! The hunt kept the girls busy for awhile!
We enjoy our Easter traditions each year but we also love the reminder each year of the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we can be forgiven when we make mistakes. We are also grateful for the knowledge we have that Jesus Christ understands us completely and is always there for us if we will turn to Him. We love Easter and everything it is.
