Last Days of Summer

Our ward had a potluck BBQ/picnic on the September long weekend.  There were lots of fun things for people to do.  Dad enjoyed showing the girls how to play badminton (although the rackets were fairly large).  They were full of laughs and giggles and they hit the birdie back and forth.

After awhile they moved onto horseshoes.  That was a little bit harder for the girls and soon there got to be too many little kids running around for this game to be safe.  Luckily the food was ready so we went and filled our tummies as we visited and enjoyed a campfire before heading home after a great night.

We enjoyed one more park play date before we head back to school!  The girls had a blast at a park we have never been to before.  Elizabeth and her best friend, Grace, were hot so they took a break in the shade under the swings.  Such cute girls!  It was a great day with friends and good way to wrap up our summer playing.
